Neil Fried , DPM
Dr. Neil Fried, D.P.M. has recently joined European Foot and Ankle group. He speciallizes in wound care as well as Routine and Diabetic Foot Care. He completed his residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and a fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at The Foot and Ankle Institute. He was also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), training both Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatric Surgery Residents in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He was also the assistant clinic director of the Orthopedic Clinic there as well.
In addition, he served as the Division Director of Foot and Ankle Surgery at UIC Orthopedics. Dr. Fried’s primary focus is now in wound care, limb salvage and prevention of wounds and complications related to abnormalities of the foot and ankle in diabetic and vascularly compromised patients.
