Dr. Magdala LaFontant is a board‑certified podiatric surgeon providing comprehensive foot and ankle care in the Chicagoland area. She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with honors, and completed a three‑year surgical residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), Dr. LaFontant has extensive experience in limb salvage, wound care, trauma, and advanced surgical and non‑surgical treatments. She has contributed to research, authored health‑related publications, and presented at professional conferences.
In addition to English, Dr. LaFontant communicates in French and Haitian Creole and is actively expanding her Spanish to better serve a diverse patient population.
